Pics of your boat

Once my boat and my house were at opposite ends of the M3.

A first on this thread I think, a second Evolution 25 (See CliveG above) mine was called Chou Fleur III, or more commonly the Good Ship Cauliflower.

Re: Photos of our boat - Picassa

I'm downloading a lot of photos from "My Pictures" onto Photobucket in order to attempt to post some on here. But I've also got a lot stored on Picassa. Do I need to transfer them from there to Photobucket and if so does anyone know the mechanism to do so, please? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: Photos of our boat - Picassa

Im not sure what Picassa is but from Photobucket if you click on browse it will take you to where you have been taking your pictures from ( My Pictures) If you click on the downward pointy arrow thing after it says my pictures it should open up other places for you to search for photos . So look where the photos are stored on your PC and go to that place instead .
Hmmmm maybe i should stick to carpentry /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Photos of our boat - Picassa

Do you mean you have images stored in Picassa's on line web images albums? If so, you will just have to try linking to them to find out if it supports linking to forums. Some galleries don't but it usually tells users that.

Re: Photos of a dream boat

These lovely photos of 'Argyll' were sent to me by a friend who is equally passionate about S & S designs - isn't she just drop dead gorgeous?
I know that smaller plastic boats are more sensible and easier to maintain, but after having sailed a fair bit on a near sister ship 'Stormy Weather', I am so pleased that there are folk out there who are brave / mad / enthusiastic enough to commit themselves to restorations that bring these fine vessels back into the lime light again.

And here is a bow view - what a commanding sheer line!

Re: Photos of our boat - Picassa

Piccassa doesn't store picture itself it just catalogues pictures on your computer. I chucked it off because it took over all the file associations that I have set for different programmes.
Right click on a thumbnail and go to "Locate on Disc" and it will open a window of the folder the picture is stored in.

Robin2 made a similar request here and it would be good to do that at least temporarily until an alternative better solution is found.

I just made the mistake of clicking 'Show All' and it took a while to assemble it all so browsing through could get to be a problem as it gets bigger.
