I may be well off the mark here, but my honest impression of the two photographs by the original poster is that they are overexposed, and if that's what the view looked like at the time, then not worth photographing and certainly not worth sharing.
Some good stuff subsequent to that though.

I think it's the thought that counts & if my own efforts wer'nt entirely outclassed by the wonderful photo's of the Red Sea & the knowledge that someone else is living such a wonderful life compared to my ownI would certainly contribute.Cheered me up just to see such wonderful photographs!Good show keep um coming.

Ah, 'twas yourself that we noticed anchored at Eilean nan Gamhna yesterday. We were the bespinnakered boat that passed you in the light winds.
Go on it is always worth contributing,and as can be seen by the various comments no one "correct" view.
