I know that Photobucket comes in for a lot of criticism here, doubtless deserved. It is painfully slow and not one of my video uploads can be played. The free service is festooned with the lousiest, most repellent advertising, and doubtless they invite awful advertisers in order to encourage use of the 'superior', ad-free service instead.
My question here is a little different. Whenever I want to upload another photo, or review my library of pics, I get the following pop-up (which needs completing before I can move on)...
...now, according to the pop-up, having supplied the correct email address, it will be established as the email attached to this account, and thus I oughtn't to need to repeat the procedure...
...but whatever I do and wherever I go in the system, the same pop-up continues to pop up ad nauseum, as if I'd never seen it before. I don't mean on each new time I visit the website - I mean on each step I take whilst using the website. It's like the system constantly forgets that I've provided what it requested, 60 seconds earlier.
Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a simple way to make Photobucket recognise that I am still who I've always been, (I have never changed my email address) and that they needn't keep checking? Or is this another irritation, deliberately written into the system, that can be avoided by selecting the paid version of the service?
