Yes, you need an account. After uploading a picture please refer to Post 2. Copy the BBcode and paste directly here. Nothing else. If you are doing it from a mobile application things do become a bit more complicated. You need to add a .jpg extension to the link and use the board's insert pic GUI

I just use the browser on my mobile and not the app, so works the same.

Since the demise of photo bucket I use Dropbox.

Copy a Link into the thread then amend it as follows

At the start '[I M G]' (no spaces BTW) at the end change dl=o to raw=1 then add '[/ I M G]' (again no spaces I put this in in case it upsets this thread response.

e.g. h t tps://www.dropbox.com/s/4x84dne4x775qkl/3001916_0_20100927022739_1_0.jpg?dl= 0

becomes [i m g]https://www.dropbox.com/s/4x84dne4x775qkl/3001916_0_20100927022739_1_0.jpg?raw=1[/ i m g]

thus ...

When in the water it matches the colours of the Manx Tartan. IOM boat.

thanks for the pointer, so googled it and even then they probably got it wrong:

The Island has its own tartan, whose colours each symbolise a different facet of the Manx landscape: blue for the sky, purple for the heather, yellow for the gorse, green for the hills and white for the traditional whitewashed crofts.

I dont know why it's those colours. Just took a punt. It's the Manx for you. Just look at Farsco, they march to their own fashion drum. It's a little island after all.
