Philippi BCM1 battery monitor query

Edit - seems I have the BCM-2 version!

I have one of these on a fairly new-to-me boat and today checked an ongoing niggle.

With the mains charger switched off and with the battery switched to "1", and all the lights etc switched on, the display for the current drain seemed correct and the remaining capacity gradually dropped. All good so far!

However, when switched to battery "2", although the display for the current drain was correct, the remaining battery capacity remained at where I'd set it in the setup menu.

The wiring appears fine, and this is supported by Shunt 2 giving the correct current drain, so my guess is that something in the setup menu is amiss? The manual's Troubleshooting section doesn't cover the above problem.

Note. My battery "1" is actually a pair set in parallel totalling 210Ah, and battery "2" is a single battery of 105 Ah. Both these figures have been entered into the "Setup" menu.

Any help/tips greatly appreciated

I thought thought the BMC1 could only monitor the current/capacity etc for one house bank and the voltage of 2 others. The Philippi website seems to confirm this.

Thanks, Neil. You're right, seems I have the BCM2 after all. It's a nice piece of kit, I just seem to be missing something in getting it to fully work
