Thank you thank you Ziggy! In Australia currently, had a BBQ breakfast followed by swimming in the sea off Stradbroke Island near Brisbane; .sailing north towards the Whitsundays then over the top and off to Cocos Keeling, Rodriguez, Mauritius, Reunion, South Africa for Xmas..... it's a hard life but someone has to do it!

5 years, I think. It was the first year I owned Capricious, and my first Clyde Scuttlebutt cruise.

ISTR that Phanakapan ended that cruise swearing off sailing! Or was it Suzy?

I still haven't sailed anywhere that could beat that trip for scenery! I think both Suse and I had a more than a touch of the mal de mer, and Suse did indeed swear off sailing, IIRC. I still get really sick the first day or so of any trip, so I'm not looking forward to the start of the next leg, as we've been landlubbers for 4 months now!
Gotta go, it's the morning after my birthday here and I've got a hangover worse than the one I got off Eammons poteen....
