Perkins M90 Rebuild

I have made the decision to have my Perkins M90 (4-236) fully re-build in preparation for my sabbatical starting in a few months. Can anyone recommend an engine builder near Southampton.

Try a Massey Ferguson Tractor dealer. Its the same engine as fitted to a MF165.
(And in the Farming Industry there are thousands of Mobile Mechanics going from Farm to Farm doing repairs and servicing Perkins engines, You cant expect a Farmer to take his Combine Harvester in for a service. Also there are many Mobile Farm mechanics who are self employed . One perhaps may do your engine where it is, if it has "Wet Liners"

The perkins dealer in Southampton is Golden Arrow (www.goldenarrow.co.uk ), talk to Kenny the service manager I always had good service from them.

I have found out that the engine rebuild i was thinking of was also by Golden Arrow.
this was a 30 yr old Ford, it came back rebuilt to spec
