Perfect Solent Dayboat?

Thanks for that gjgm. The overnighting is really just to give us the option of going out for the evening anywhere in the Solent, and not having to drive the boat back half cut in the dark. We would just crash on the boat, and cruise back next morning, so it only needs a bed, a toilet and a hob for bacon sarnies and a cup of tea before the journey back.

Flipping 'eck who the hell was responsible for that bimini support? Not only does it look ridiculous but those struts are just waiting to take somebody's eye out. Is there a cross piece missing at the front?

Pursuit are top notch and make part of the S2 Group which owns Tiara, and the only thing I hear about these boats is good and good
Grady White is good too, altough I know of some owners who expected more from this boat, mainly because with the looks alone you think this
if you want this kind of boat I would also look at the new Luhrs with IPS too, but then I dont know of the budget really

this is the Luhrs 37 IPS Canyon Series
try to imagine it without the tower, and you have a great boat
but they do a single IPS engine 31 too, non the less an interesting boat

V good point. That W24 would make a good Solent day boat

Not me Mike!

Might do if you were 8ft tall.

The forks are not sharp as they appear in the pictures, there is more chance of poking your eye out with an anchor on any bow.

No cross piece missing, the bimini is stowed in the shots, there are 6 stainless cross pieces sewn into the sunbrella fabric that slide out forward and parallel from the main arch along Harken sail track recessed into the inside of each fork. The rigid bars each lock by way of cleats into the track at various positions along the track length to create a rigid frame of canvas the full width and length of the arch forks.

It all works a treat and I thought it was quite a neat solution for a bimini but it is completely useless in the UK climate!

Hydrolift C-31 ... proper hull, 70 knot potential... and sort of understated cool...

Hi Silver, still here and hanging on. Things didnt really work out with the Westline boys. Euro and economy meant we have calle dit a day. Sometimes you have to reign yourself in a bit and admit something didnt work, for whatever reason.

The W24 is a cracking day boat, but it is that - a day boat with a cuddy for the odd overnight. We want something more so are currently on the hunt and have the 24 out of the water.
I have some better pics at work, but just to jog the memory /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
