Over the past 3 seasons we have experienced an increase in the number of men who are peeing over the side. I am not talking about whilst on passage and there is no one around, but whilst in the Harbour or Marina. In talking with friends about this we have discovered that we are not alone in being offended.
Yesterday afternoon whilst taking the dingy down past East Cowes Marina there was a chap urinating over the side of a Westerly (I will not name the vessel in an effort to preserve his modesty), My Wife was in the dingy and was offended by this chap with his dick out in plain view.
Last year in the same marina friends found a chap urinating on to their boat when they asked "what the hell are you doing?" they were told "You should not be looking".
Cowes week 3 years ago two Soldiers urinating over the side from one of the "Sail Army" boats on their mooring.
Am we unique in finding this sort of behaviour unacceptable?
Possibly we are, as there appears to be nothing that can be done about these louts on our waters.
