Hi,

Anyone have knowlege of a software programme or other method that might convert C-maps to a "pocket streets" format for loading onto a PDA.
Ideally I would like to create a manageable size chart on the laptop and load it on my GPS enabled iPAQ.
I don't want to use the laptop on-board and I don't want to buy another chart set for the handheld.
I wait, breathless, in anticipation.

I would recommend that you look at <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.chartwork.com/html/winchart_planner.html>Winchart Planner</A> which would seem to answer your needs.

Re: PDA software - NavStation

For something basic and low cost try NavStation that have a suite of tools for navigation and can use free coastal outlines or more detailed scanned charts.
