Try Memory-map - they supply a program that uses Maptech charts. I use it on a Jornada 720.

If you have one of the Palms have a look at Sailpalm... there's a demo on the Palm webside or Google for Sailpalm.

OK on a Palm 500m for passage planning etc.

Hi
The 3 main companies producing software for PDA's are Maptech, Chartwork and Transas. We have a free guide available for using PDA's onboard. If you would like a copy please send me a PM or drop us an email.

Don't forget oziexplorer which you can dowload from the web & you can produce your own charts for it. Popular with many forum members & free demo downloads are available.

Also if you're running a PC already and your PDA has bluetooth, you can get software that sends an image of your screen to the pda and updates every second. The one I use is for my Sony Ericsson P800 pda/phone - it's called Remote Control P800 (original name :).
