I was thinking of getting a years subscription to PBO. What I dont want to do is, do the subscription only to find out it takes a month for the first one to turn up and when it does I find that the first one is the March issue which I probably bought at the end of January. So my question is, If I do it tomorrow what will be the first months magazine to drop through my letter box.

When I took out a sub we agreed which issue was to be the first.

I do remember a discussion about whether the "January" edition was the one that was printed as "January" or the one that went out in January.......but was really the February edition.

About a third of the price if you do it through Tesco vouchers.

Now here's a brainteaser. Why does the digital subscription (which costs about nothing to produce and deliver) cost £30 a year, when the printed subscription (which must cost a lot to print and post) only costs £17?

PBO @ £16.99 is 6 months DD, £36.49 for 1 year CC. £16 for 1 year with Tesco.

I went on the Tesco website and it states 6 to 8 weeks for the first magazine. I cant wait that long. In the winter I get "Boat Withdrawal" symptoms which often manifest themselves in me buying more and more boating publications.
