Has anyone here used one of these almanacs? or got an opinion on them?
or think they are good / useless??

The info is taken from Macmillan/Reeds, so shld be accurate. The main drawback for me is the lack of pilotage info for specific ports. So what I do is get the PBO Solent Almanac every year, for tidal info etc. and a new Mac/Reeds every 2-3 years, to confirm that the Hamble's still in the same place.

Thanks for that, I already have a reeds so i dont think i will bother with it then

Excellent bit of kit.

Just suppliment it with a comprehensive almanac every 5 years or so and you will save £'s.
