Paying enough tax yet?

Re: good answer david_e!

Around the time of the 97 election, Labour raged one day that taxes had gone up overall from 32% to 35% under the tories. So aha! said someone to me at work. I said ther was a very easu way for they themselves to pay nearer 40% income tax insted of thirtysomething, and how would they like that hm? Certainly not, they said, until they realised that the only way possible would be for their income to be doubled, for example.

Figures can't lie, but liars can figure.

Not a live aboard are we by any chance. You know the ones that enjoy all the council services like street lighting rubbish disposal etc, etc. All paid for out of the council rates that you avoid paying. And don't give me the S**t about it's in the marina fees because any normal home tenant pay's more rent than you do per year and still pays the rates and electric / water bills on top. Best you take a look at the glass house you live.

What do you mean the sea gull in front's walking !!!

Chris .. yes a liveaboard, forced to live where I can find work, however, my house (official residence, over three hundred miles away from work) has walls built of good solid welsh slate.
