Passage planning Dartmouth to Salcombe

I wonder if anyone has a tidal atlas for Start bay to hand. I have left mine on the boat and hope to move her from Dartmouth to Salcombe next Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday.

Would anyone be kind enough to give me a departure time window for tides.

It's 14 miles and usually takes me about 3 hours. If it allows for more sociable hours I am happy with slack tide and even a tiny but of foul but wouldn't want to be against full flow.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help or even point me to where in can find tide arrows on a website.

Zoom up to maximum and then you can see the individual charts. provided you are using a proper computer ... I cant get any joy on SWMBO's tablet thing


Tide is west going from 2 hours before HW Dover to 4 hours after

Tide will turn fair at Start 4hrs after high tide.

Leave Dartmouth around local L/W, this will get you to Salcombe with enough rise to get over the Bar,

Hmm, no tide around Start!! And between Start and Prawle?? Maybe time to reconsider?
