Paravane question

I have googled this without success - to set up you attach the line to the fin and the lure to the "tail" (i.e. aft end of the "arrow" shape)? Couldn't get it to work last w/e..

Yep, how big was the lure? A big lure can stop the diving action. Try it first without the lure, if you get it right the paravane should dive down almost vertically off the back of the boat.

you shouldn't have anything except line and light weight lure (red gill or fethers) trailing.
It's the weight of the fish that turns the vane and sends it to the surface, so your lure was acting like a fish /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
