Red fades the most (look at any old Vauxhall Corsa) Green is the most fade resistant pigment.

dont use international as they change the colours too often & you will never get a match 5 yrs laterThe paint I used has not faded in 5 years. I touched up a couple of scratches recently with a new tin, and once dried you could see no difference.
Morello Red BTW. The bright reds I would agree do fade. Same with sprayhoods and dodgers. Scarlet fades, Burgundy seems to hold its colour better. Perhaps because of the blue in it?

Once it's on it's mooring the 40 yard rule applies.
Aye, and when the hull is wet it withstands the binocular test!
I should know, poor Khamsin is horribly scratched (Crinan Canal 2013), but if I arrive in port after a lively sail, and leave before the pernickerty types are up, no-one notices!
