Paint masking sheets?

Has anyone used paint masking sheets like "Top Gun" or similar?
Top Gun Professional Polythene Static Masking Film 5m | CCPaints
I have a number of gelcoat repairs to do this winter and I'm looking for an easy way to protect the teak deck and other bits of the deck which don't need splashing with gelcoat or epoxy.
I looks like it's polylene based so I guess it will not be disolved by epoxy or flow coat?

Having sprayed decks in the past ! Working on deck requires something that can be walked upon I’ve found tyvek building membrane excellent along with blue ( 14 day ) masking tape .

Thai boatyards use cheap vinyl domestic flooring - cut to fit and taped down - while they spray epoxy etc.
