P46 1988

I was once gonna trade in one of these. This was a later 1991 model which was resprayed, Cats 425hp engines rebuilt, had an extended platform, and hydraulic passarelle. This owner was the second. It was beleive me one of the best examples of a 46 Riviera you could ever get.
Its interior was nice with white sprayed veeners looking quite spacious. The engine room is tight, but is better to other Princess's of this size. Finishing in Engine room is 50/50 very delusional IMO.
The owner wanter 200k EUs for it. I could not give him more then 150k for it. The deal fell and he part exchanged for a used V58 last year, and so far at 150k it has not sold yet.
So if you want a fast price with those engines anything more then 100k EUs is too much IMO.

Forgot about the hull which is usall Bernard Olesinski stuff, but I think this is one which rates highly and can take many kinds of water. What I also like for the 46 Riviera is that is also planes at low speeds thanks to very good weight distribution and excellent engines position. I think to remember it went up at more or less 14 knots.

Princess 46 Riviera

I cruised far and wide in a 46 Riviera for 3 years. Went from Brittany to Amsterdam. The hull is superb. Nice and dry and rarely slams.
