No Argument, fact. Amongst my routers I have a Draper and a Silverline, identical and all accessories interchangable

That's a bit like saying that two drills are identical because they take the same drill bits.
Accessories generally use a standardised fitting, the same goes for power drills etc. i.e. you can use a Bosch saw blade in a Black and Decker saw. Doesn't mean that the two saws are made in the same place or are identical in any way.
But you've made your mind up so time to move on.
