P 45 know how needed

Hello there,

Don't suppose anyone knows where the outlet for the cooling water is do they? I've bought one and its had a coat of tidying up pre sale paint which has covered everything. I don't really want to take it all apart if I could just poke a hole through.

Hope that doesn't make me sound too stupid!!

I am trying without success to imagine what they have painted the boat with - assuming you mean a boat and not some other P 45?

Very good folks,

Yes I was referring to the small 2 hp outboard, as opposed to either of the above, as a coat of tidy up paint on either would just be silly!!

Does the water go in at the holes above the gear box and out the hole at the bottom above the prop? On the other hand can anyone recommend a place to get a gasket set so I can take it apart.
