Looks like the ex CEO has a new job...http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?508002-Fairline-apoint-David-Tydeman-(ex-oyster)-as-executive-chairman
The sinking of Polina Star... ...is just a smoke screen to cover up a LOT more
I wish some of the oblivious DT lovers here could talk to some of the Oyster owners who had to rescue their Oysters from the bankrupcy. The sinking of Polina Star and it's aftermath is just a smoke screen to cover up a LOT more and most certainly not the reason the previous dutch owners pulled the plug. But it's water under the bridge now. Oyster is in safe hands and probably going to be stronger than ever.
I wish them well at Fairline. I give it less than 2 years.

Has anyone actually bought a new Oyster since the new owner took over?
Why post these snippets of information you claim to possess? The Oyster business was, as it should have been, well publicised by its administrators and many potential suitors ran their slide-rules over the business including some on here. Whether by reason of NDA or good manners, it would seem all of the posters who had sight of this information have stepped back from this thread. It's over, Oyster has a new owner and the vast majority of us wish him and his workforce well. Why stand at the bar at 1 a.m. banging on about it when everyone's gone home?Must be building them for stock then, during my visit factory was busy
