The friend that sold me his davits went down a size in the marina from 13m to 12m, the way my boat is arranged it should not put her up any more, boat is 11.3m for the hull, 11.6m including the bathing platform, the davits will take that up to 11.9m and I still fit between the 12m markings on the dock.
€490 for the year's mooring for a 12m boat.

My port took me (and everyone else’s) boat out the water and measured it. Longest and widest part became our official measurement (although I believe this information is only for this port). That extra cleat I put on the bathing platform to tie the dingy to, cost me two inches

What was most annoying part was that we weren’t allowed to do any cleaning or maintenance while it was in the slings

Pal of mine some years ago left Port Solent because they measured his boat with anchor over the bow roller. Tripped him into next bracket.
He removed the anchor and requested remeasure - they refused ... he left for another marina.

Ah! That is the advantage of having the anchor on deck, it would put me into the over 12m bracket if mine was sticking over the bow roller.
Just awaiting some spares to be delivered for the SL HySpeed 510 anchor winch that is fitted to my boat.
Not forgotten about your item @Refueler should have some time to go hunt for it tomorrow
