Well that seems to have disappeared..... I used to use International Trilux 33 on my Volvo Penta outdrive and leg but that seems to have disappeared and been replaced with International Cruiser 200. I like to brush it on and not spray. THe thing is the Cruiser 200 is not available in grey. Only red, Black or white.

I was wondering what others with a Volvo Penta outdrive are using ?

If the original leg paint is intact from a corrosion protection perspective perhaps do nothing?

It was already antifouled when I bought the boat and last year when I had some work done on the leg the Mechanics redid it using Trilux 33. It has poor areas also so I will also have to do it. This will also be left in for 3 years so will need doing

We used to use Seajet 34 on the legs and prop though much would come off the prop during the season. Though we found that running the boat most weekends tended to keep the props clean anyway.

I use Seajet 034 for both my outdrive and props, but I don't buy the costly triple pack. All you need to do it simply wet&dry the outdrive and props to a sound surface then apply several coats of a decent primer then two coats of Seajet, I have been doing it that way for several years with very minimal paint loss and it is much better than Trilux. The only thing is as mentioned, grey is only available in the triple pack, so I use White for the outdrive and black for the props. Seems to work well for me.
