The worst of the weather could not stop me driving down to Poole today to watch the new boat roll out of the factory into the very fresh air for the first time. It was quite a sight to watch 60 tonne of boat being moved around on a wheeled cradle as if it was a supermarket trolley! Didn't have the expertise or time to post a pictoral commentary on the build (a la JFM) but couldn't resist posting a couple of pics to show off the pride and joy. :):):)

Looks fantastic. Good of Sunseeker to nail 4 flagstaffs on the bow. Did you pay extra for that?

very nice indeed.....i bet the forward cabin is really light n airy with those big ports !!...not seen any that size that far forward before .......ENJOY......

Thanks.You would win your bet, these new ports do change the space considerably. They are one of my custom tweaks to the boat, replacing the smaller standard twin ports. Comparison in pics.

Deleted User, there was no charge for the nailing, but on reflection I had the flagstaffs removed from the bow and cemented into the quayside. :)

Many thanks. Start to finish is around 7 months. The pics show the boat at 4.5 months when it goes outside for the fit out to continue. Its a couple of weeks on the hard while they fit the flybridge hardtop and other exterior dangly bits, then into the water where it stays until completed. They need to get a move on with this one as it is setting off for Excel on the 16th!
 
Wow, congratulations MYAG! Looking magnificent. In our exchanges on this I've resisted asking you if you went for black hull in case you did, but I'm so glad to see you didn't (so many of the black ones seem to be going crinkly in the sun)

I couldn't see the stabs because of that big wheelie bin. Any pics?

I can imagine those big ports make for a fantastic VIP cabin, though I hope they're well bonded in :-)

Please post some interior pics if you have any. Apart from nailing the HT on, is there much work to be done now the boat is outside? Or are they pretty much finished inside the factory? When is handover/delivery etc?

Thanks JFM. Didnt go for a coloured hull simply cos I prefer white, which is lucky really cos I have never seen a blue/black hull that has fully stood up to UV issues, no matter what the builder says!

The large VIP ports are new to this boat but not new in themselves. Actually I nicked them from the bow of the 30M, and persuaded s/s to bolt them onto my mold. Might become a standard feature in the future facelift of the model. The glass/bonding method is the same and well proven. Stabs are all in but the fins have not been fitted. We are going to run the boat up to London without fitting them (as they have to come off at Excel anyway) and commission later on return to Poole.

Essentially, once the boat is watertight, it moves outside. They are always finished off on the water. The interior is still very much work in progress as these pics taken yesterday show! I am assured this is normal and all on schedule. Handover/delivery is scheduled for early March. Planning on leaving mid March.

Berth is in Gocek, Turkey. She will spend her life cruising the Aegean, Ionian, E Med, transiting the Suez and Red Sea. May come as far west as Croatia based on the positive posts on here.

Thanks. Options were CAT's, MTU's or MAN's. I went for the V12 MAN's.
Nav/Elecs gear is all Raymarine, except the VHF which is Simrad.
