Yipee

Got a day off and the suns shining.

SWMBO's birthday sunday so must shop this morning, don't know how I will concentrate thinking of blasting across the Solent at 30knots with the sun glistnening off the water.

Sorry, forgot, some of you may be working today.

Anyone else out of pompy front, give us a wave.

Wouldn’t it be nice if someone perhaps said “Lovely day today but instead of blasting across the Solent at 30 knots, just for the hell of it, I’ll donate the cost of the fuel that I would have wasted to those poor soles in Africa suffering from the AID’s virus” (or your own favourite charity).

Judging by the thousands of lovely boats you see moored up that don't move from one week to the next, I guess your suggestion must happen more often than you realise! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Great if it happens, it’s the bragging about it to the world that I despise.

Are you a Raggie?

If you are a raggie then you wouldn't understand.

If it makes you feel any better, I burnt around 10 gallons of petrol today, which donated around £30+ to HMG to help fund our education and health services.

What could be so wrong with that??

I think you need to get some horsepower

I'm going to treat that comment with the contempt that it deserves. I'm not going to bite.

Why would we donate money to the bottom of people's shoes? Or did you mean souls?

<font color=blue>C'mon Barry, be a sport, there must be something you can donate to. I'm torn between The Society of Left Handed Paedophiles, The Nigerian Association of Scammers and the Poofters & Junkies AIDS is not self inflicted Society.

Thought that would get you all going; far more fun winding you lot up than blasting across the water! Nice and sunny today so must rush as plan blasting my way across my playroom on my pogo stick!
Up the Raggies!
