Our Dylan's 2nd Presentation!

Clearly we all need a glass or puff of whatever he imbibed before that performance.

Call me old-fashioned but I think the whole thing would have been improved through the use of that wonderful invention - the microphone.

It was consistent with the bit in his talk about old men shouting...

Probably an attempt at irony...

Ironically......

;)

Put me in a darkened lecture theatre/conference hall .....

& it’s not very long before I’m falling asleep!

How many times have we had to attend someone presenting some good information .... but in a low-drone with no emphasis, enthusiasm or humour?

I think Dylan’s chosen format & method was presented well ..... I certainly wouldn't fall asleep during this couple of minutes. BZ's (Y)

cheers chaps

last speaker of 13

oldest bloke by two decades

they started and ended with sailors

I did it last year so they asked me back and put me up last

the mike was horrible

it would only work if it was pinned to your chin

it would pop and crackle if you did much more than mumble

I knew that I could reach the back of the 500 seater with my unamplified voice

it is a great format

you should try it for a clubnight

20 slides,change every 20 seconds

no control

not much of a comittment from each speaker

the rest of the speakers are here

I haven't seen any of your videos but I loved that presentation - and no doubt it is one of the few presentations which the audience will remember in a months time, assuming the other 12 were in the polished boring style. Well done sir!
