Anyone competed in the Ostar Race

I miss read this as 'anyone completed the Ostar Race?' - principle seems great, but seems to attract the older generation of blue water yachts, and I'm pretty sure something like 60% of the fleet had to abandon the race in 2017 after being hit by a hurricane?

I know a guy that was one of the 5 out of 15 that made it to the end. His boat got fairly trashed. He appeared to have taken it all in his stride in his 10m yamaha built boat.

I recall that snowleopard did it in a home built catamaran some years ago. Haven't seen him around for a while hope he's ok.
