Origo has landed!!

You should celebrate with a nice cup of tea. If you put the kettle on now it’ll be boiled by teatime!

I made this cheeky comment earlier but I must admit if I was off round the world I would get one of these alcohol stoves. I always wonder how the blue water crowd do gas refills when each country has (I assume) different bottle types.

Had a Westfalia VW camper years ago and that had alcohol hobs from standard, very rare I believe. No great hardship waiting a min or two longer for a cuppa.

Really? It is not obvious that although pouring from a 1-gallon can is awkward and is what stories of spilling come from, pouring from a purpose-designed fuel bottle spout, into a 2-inch opening, is dead easy even if very rough. My boat is 24 feet and I'm pretty sure of this. Do it in the sink. If conditions are too rough for this, you have no business heating anything on a stove, propane or otherwise.
These have also been recommended here for refilling the tanks of small outboards while on the water (not while underway!)
