Sorry but you will never convince me.I see few parallels between the examples you give and the issues we face. And I definitely see no analogy between fishermen and farmers - farmers reap what they sow, fisherman just reap without much of a future plan. We don't own the fish anymore than we own the water they swim in. Common and Bottlenose dolphins also eat tuna AND they have attacked humans on occasion. Should we cull them too? And those pesky tuna; they eat loads of sardines. They'll have to go on the list as well.
Any seal??? Are you suggesting the Orcas are wrong for being carnivores? They have to eat too.
Yes, I know you're probably being deliberately flippant about it but Orcas aren't insentient in any sense of the word; they're remarkably intelligent and have social bonds which are probably more complex, and certainly more loyal than our own.
I personally know two boats/skippers who've suffered rudder damage and neither would want to see the animals killed.
As for asking someone who's sailed the Straits for a living - I don't have to. I'm a delivery skipper as you know and I've transited that Med/Atlantic coast like a yo-yo for the last few years.
Orca populations are in swift decline globally solely due to humans. Why hasten their extinction just so we can enjoy the water? Let's find a real answer that doesn't involve killing these remarkable animals.
Human lives first.
