I am serious thinking about replacing the seat covers in the cockpit on Bizzy Bee and have it in mind to be a little different. What does the panel feel about the colour Orange? I think it'd look rather striking in the summer sun

I say go for it. it looks amazing on the Atlantis 38. Google the video of the boat and look. Simply stunning

Some sort of tan/beige might work on the S28 if you changed the blue canopy.

I like the orange but its the worst possible colour for fading in the sun, so not that practical if you want to keep it a few years.

Orange was the colour of Jimmys eyes. Not for the upholstery though

Seriously Gary, if you go brave on your material, you will have to change the canopy colour too.

I've obviously missed what happened last night, but I'd say go for it!
It has a 70ies feel to it which I really love. Reminds me my old Matra Bagheera, some old Miura's etc
But, fading in the Solent sun, please give us a break!
I bet it will be fine for more time that you'll keep the boat, but what about the canopy as Paul said, and you probably have to work out something for the fenders as well
And actually that's another point, is it going to affect the resale value of BB?

I was thinking yellow a black stripes too in a similar manner to your spotty fenders but with a bee theme. can't sleep, going to be the walking dead tomorrow.

P.s. it's not Deb's decision

Orange could work well, imho. We tried some orange scatter cushions and i liked the splash of colour. Funny thing was that orange with the dark blue canopies gave me a very strong 70's retro feel (which wasn't bad actually).
