You're probably right, Mirelle. The Rotterdam pilots have a fund of such stories and tbis one was told me on the bridge of an inbound Polish freighter. Certainly some of them are true and I thought this probably was.

trying to get the trainees in touch with the natural forces at work. It's so easy to overpower these forces with the throttle. The Gin Palace ferry glide is not a common sight.
