Opinions please

I think the cruiser version looks superb but in my opinion a hard-top should have as big a sunroof as possible otherwise why not stick to a flybridge (best of both worlds, and I am no great flybridge fan).

I love the 'Wally' style of design, in that they are interesting to look at and have a nice retro on futuristic look about them - the sort of thing you see on Sci Fi films where the designs in the future are based on the 30's look - Such as in the film Brazil.

My introduction to this style was the Landau 20

But, I am not sure I would actually buy such a style of boat as depreciation could possibly be greater than my wallet could stand as the fashion changes.

i think the main brands in Italy always try to go for something different to each other
the 40 Open looks like a WallyPower 47 Tender
I think the biggest competitor to a Wally purchase would be a Riva, followed by Pershing and Sunseeker
to a Fjord 40 Crusier i think it would be a lobster overhere here in the med like Mochi, Abati and may be a HT like a Nimbus up North
the 40 Open looks much better then the Cruiser version IMO

the problem is not the price but the quality you are give for the price
I think the F38 Targa has better quality on paper then the Sealine SC35
still I think both these boats are expensive with over infalted price for a minimum of 25%
if you want to pay for the money and what you get, buy a Cranchi, Jeanneau or Beneteau etc

problem for me with Cranchi is the exterior seating looks like its coloured to hide seasick.
Id put beneteau at the top; just dont like the others.

I know what you mean about the colour!!

Not a fan of Cranchi at all, but from a quality perspective I'd have thought the Benny would be on the bottom... shame cause I quite like the looks/layout.

Lambada, off topic but are you aware that Fjord are a new Cobalt Boats dealer, I had an email from them today?

price to price at I will go for the Targa 38
it looks a lovely boat
the Sealine on the photos has some items which look cheap, like the seats aft with back rest showing up, transom not fully finished in GRP
and even the c-shaped sette in the saloon

on the other hand the 38 Targa looks so good even on a design perspective, and now it also has upgraded SS railings like the bigger models
