Opening hours in greece on good friday

Looking for some local knowledge - I am flying in to Corfu on Good Friday and am planning to leave that night for Sicily via Paxos (I know, shame to miss the Easter celebrations but i have a window and if the weather is right I want to be able to go). What are the chances of finding provisions on Good Friday?

Are the supermarkets closed? If i can persuade someone to provision the boat a bit in advance what are the chances of getting supplies in Paxos on Easter Saturday?

Have full fuel tanks and water filters so really just 3 days food for a crew of 5.

Very mixed experience for us in Leros. A few shops were closed all day, several food shops were closed in the morning but opened in the evening and some were open all day.

The supermarket in Gouvia Marina will probably be open but their range is limited and expensive. The marina office will probably be able to let you know if it will be open. One or other of the smaller shops outside the back gate to the marina might also be open but it has to be said most of the place shuts down.

It's the same this year, Easter Sunday is 20th April.

It varies - this year and in 2017 it happens to be the same as Easter in the Western Churches
