Lovely sunny afternoon here in Oostende. Good seabreeze has kicked in too. Oh, the Kruzenshtern has just arrived.

Why do people eat whelks? Must be like eating a car tyre.

Fab evening spent with fellow ecf'ers in foreign lands, consuming lots of very fine rum, putting faces to forum names. Really great evening and well worth the trip, 3 more days, can't wait.....

Were here , slow start but ended up with a 20 knot close reach for last 20 miles or so , arrived at 21:00 berthed a few boats along from Sailorman

Jealous as a jealous thing here. I'm oncall for work, watching the temps rise and the perfect sailing weather pass me by
Lookout for some possible lightning Early Sunday am in Belgium with more over East Anglia Monday but not heading out to sea at present. South easterlies Monday am should veer SW Monday pm, looks a cracking sail back (at the mo!). Should stay dry until Monday night (over the sea).

Somersault now back at Southwold.
Left at 11:05 and was tied up at 22:50.
Beam and close reach all the way home with 12 to 20knts and sun all the way across.

Micaralee left Ostend around 12:30 , arrived Syh at 02;30 , after quick cuppa I said farewell to Wim and he went home , I left again at 06:45 for fambridge.
Had a really great time and thanks to all for great company .

Cleared Oostende pr hd 05.15 today arrived landguard 16.35,motored all the way. GPS logged 72.75 mls
A really good w/e & and nice to see you new (old) and phizogs

Left Ostend at 07:45 back at Essex marina 10:30, motor sailed. Good to meet a few of you will catch up with others next time.

txt Nordmark last night & this morning, he rtnd to Oostende with raw water pump issues, yesterday.
This morning he was awaiting Simon to tow Nordmark out of the Montgomery Dock into the Hbr, he was going to sail back sans reliable engine.
Will post when i know more

That was Saturday`s problem + lack of jungle juice that was rectified with one of those road peddlows & a few jerry cans
