Well not me, but someone who used to work for me.

He took his wife to a garden centre to buy a flower pot. He waited outside, and next door was the Jaguar dealership. The salesman came out and bent his ear, until he bought an XJ12 - a Yellow one!!!!!

Yellow ....

It is my least favouriote colour. God has deemed it necessary that every item I buy should at least have a significant part of it yellow. I buy a portable stereo from Argos ..... Yellow, I buy a mains accessory for my boat ... yellow, I buy anything that I cannot immediately see the colour of till unpacked ..... yep you guessed it - Yellow.

It has got to a point that even when not necessary to open box etc. we do to see if he's done it again .... missus thinks its hilarious .......

Wife sent me out to Tesco's for some frozen peas, met a friend in one of the ailes and bought a 19' boat from him, BIG trouble when I got home without the peas!

Sadly had to do that the other week as all my pairs of jeans finally gave up the ghost - so now wandering about in new jeans, at least they are now run in.

Yes, I was caught looking at it by Dave Staines (sadly passed away a couple of years later), who whipped out a ladder from nowhere and told me to wander around. He offered me a good deal on the Corribee and delivered to Canvey Island ( Oh, I have to go there to pick another one up, so I will deliver it for nothing....). SOLD.
Boating Scene were Ridgeway, which made Leisures and Mirages. The chandlery was good, and I had 15% discount as a boat purchasing customer. Bloody nice people, shame they went.
