It was indeed beautiful where I was today. Almost flat sea, glorious sunshine, air temp 18⁰, sea temp 17⁰, refreshing swim, nice lunch on board and home before it started to cool down. God's pocket

I definitely didn’t swim!

Don’t venture to the Spanish Med currently -it’s like Gosport on a bad day down on the coast here at Valencia -never seen so much rain so suddenly unless in Asia.

As I’m sure you know, we’ve only just come out of about 6 weeks of rain rain rain so yesterday was a proper treat.

I got out too. Fantastic birdlife around.

I forgot to take a photo but had a lovely afternoon working with the laptop from the boat in the sunshine, filling and recommissioning the water system after being drained for winter and doing a few other odd jobs.

Why is the sea brown?

That's the Easy Coast for you, where the sea is thin mud, and the land just slightly thicker mud.

It has been a fantastic week for polishing on this side of the North Sea

Yes, well my hull does not look like that! You certainly can’t see next door’s hull in the sheen!!!

Drove up to Glasgow yesterday and it was grey with occasional rain but, as soon as we got to the border, the sky cleared and it’s been beautiful sunshine.
On our way to Edinburgh now for the match and absolutely beautiful weather.
