One for Volvopaul Tamd74 edc

Trying to find out what the thread is on the T fitting on the edc module, for the inlet pressure sensor.
I would like to put a pressure gauge on to check the boost pressure, before I start digging any further.

Take off the blanking plug on the unused padt of the T and there you have the thread to take with you,

Thanks, just trying to get the info, owner was going out on it today & didn't want to disable it.

Hi Paul,

Revs ok, no smoke. Clean bottom & props
Some question over the turbos, slight play in the bearings, no end float. Not sure if the the Watergate is operating.
Some condensation in the pipe from the inlet manifold.

Simple check was to look at the boost pressure under load, before stripping things off.

None of the fitting in my bit box fit the t on the sensor.

If it’s making 2600 rpm there is no problem , a small amount of shaft play is acceptable as the shaft has to float on its axis .

Just been out for a seatrial.
Bottom not clean, 2250rpm wot, approx 25psi boost.

Lift out next.
