I have a raymarine RL80c plotter and a RL70c as radar/backup. Both accept my C-map NT cartridges but I've just acquired some NT+. According to the Jeppson compatibility chart they are not compatible with my plotter. Is there some kind of software fix which is cheap and easy to implement so I can use the NT+ cards?
Any suggestions welcome bearing in mind that as a pensioner every penny is precious.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the answer is "Almost certainly not". The software in Raymarine products is proprietary and therefore pretty much impossible to modify. Further, mapping and charting products are usually not provided in any documented format, so any software to modify the data is usually reverse engineered by enthusiasts. Garmin's map products have a large amount of software available (see www.cgpsmapper.com), but Raymarine have a much smaller user base, so I do not know of any products to manipulate data in formats Raymarine can handle.
