If you'd done such a good job, why did you end up in in Wales and Scotland ?

Then there was the Kelts, came south and made friends with the Romans in return for land and authority, was this the start of New Labour? or is New Labour the continuation of a old idea.

Cos we like mountains more than mud I guess.
I had the misfortune to be born in London but spent my childhood in the Highlands. I still stay sane by returning at least once a year........... Takes at least 3 generations to breed it out I am told.
But you obviously didn't get my point earlier. we only moved over a bit to let the Anglo Saxons have the muddy bits, we defended the bits we wanted for ourselves!

We did not like the mud either, we took over the Peak district .

Nobody likes mud, so all the idiots and disadvantaged were sent to the Debden and there they remain to this day!
