A freind has just bought an old wooden powerboat and has asked me to try and find some info.
I have the registered numbers but not the name,
REG 187634; tons 10/100; M.K.B.X. is there a website that lists the registered numbers?
She is 40ft x 14ft, twin shafts (engines gone) with a single tiller?
The hull is wooden and very strong build with ribs every 6" and the bow is heavily reinforced, it also has two substantial lifting eyes fitted in the large keel.
There has been talk of it being a thames fireboat and possible "little ship".
Any ides where I may get the info?
Sorry I don't have any pictures..
