Ok, I've bitten. What's a Lakesailoring?

Lakesailoring rule 9(a)?

I'm honoured that I have my very own rule, even though I've never been involved in any discussion about Lakesailoring (until now, that is). Don't see how I could ever be accused of Lakesailoring, since my views generally differ radically from the flock's. Not taking a side here, just a casual observation. Regardless, I'm always correct, so hah!

Re: Ok, I\'ve bitten. What\'s a Lakesailoring?

Sheep are quite often involved.
Not sure why.
Haven't quite understood the whole question and the meaning of Life.
A asks B replies C gets involved There doesn't seem to be any room for D .
Perhaps the Lakey alphabet is challenged.
Don't worry about it or get too involved shmoo ,I think it is for a higher intellect thah thee or me! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Re: Lakesailoring rule 9(a)?

I don't know how that came about (see earlier reply to moosehunter) In fact I don't know why I've become custodian as it was matt that created the rules. He must have something against you, or.................................?

the fact that moose's are always right.

Thus, moosehunting should become moosecorrecting.

Alwys right - correcting???? Oxymoron?

Re: Ok, I\'ve bitten. What\'s a Lakesailoring?

I rather foolishly just tried to explain the principles of Lakesailoring to my other half, maybe its a bit early on a Sat morning.

I'll try again later.

Re: Ok, I\'ve bitten. What\'s a Lakesailoring?

Ooooh. I find it best to keep things like that secret. The concept of taking turns in a conversation and acknowledging points already made is anathema to certain people. Possibly about 50% of the population.

I’m afraid that’s actually incorrect according to LakeRegs Rule 9d

Sorry, ole chap - but haven't you forgotten to factor in the disseminating teleological junction? This will reverse all previous actions...

Absolute piffle. For Rule 9e to work "someone else has to mention the word “Lakeregs” (in that exact format, - if they say “the rules” or other stuff then you can’t leap in with this killer )" for a 9d challenge to work
I've looked back through the thread and can't find such a mention.

If your Avatar is a picture of a Moose and you are thinking of moosehunting, I would really not like to see your Rats!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

d) The 9d rule: It is possible to slam-dunk win an argument about Lakeregs: someone else has to mention the word “Lakeregs” (in that exact format, - if they say “the rules” or other stuff then you can’t leap in with this killer ) - and then after that WHOEVER first quotes rule 9d in the form proscribed in 9e) below WINS the argument, even if they are completely wrong. This should save loads of time and favours people who read rules.

[/ QUOTE ]
Go on then. Show me who said “Lakeregs”.

Re: Ok, I\'ve bitten. What\'s a Lakesailoring?

You did, when pointing out ""someone else has to mention the word “Lakeregs”", you did use the word yourself, did you not?

I even quoted you doing it!

Re: Ok, I\'ve bitten. What\'s a Lakesailoring?

No. I was quoting the Lakesailor Rules which were written by tcm who is not involved in this thread. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
