Left Conwy at 6.30 am after waking up the Marina staff to get in and fuel up.

Early morning mist and mirror seas

Perch Beacon at the start of the channel

Puffin Island in the distance

Arrived at 10 am to our caravan spot for the weekend and was hankering after a cocktail.... seriously, but settled for a book and snooze

kids tobogganing down the dunes

This boy will go far, Practical mind and all that!

Those unable to rise early joined and it was a very sociable evening with BBQ on the beach

Next Morning greeted to this sight while out hunting for Orchids

She's an old girl, but ... lets just settle for glamorous granny
