Oil from Exhaust

I noticed today a small amount of oil mixed with the water from the exhaust and a slight slick on surface, never seen this before but the surface was like a mirror today

Any ideas - should i be concerned

Normal from a Seagull, not so from a Honda! What engine are we talking about?

If the exhaust isn't too smokey I wouldn't worry about it.

Was this on start-up? The Yanmars use over fuelling for cold starting, so they usually throw out a little unburnt fuel for a minute. It could have been a mist of diesel - usually accompanied by a little smoke until it gets up to temperature.
