For reasons I won't go into my beta 20 gear box no longer has an oil drain plug...
Can anyone recommend a decent oil extractor pump.
Thanks..

+1The Pela ones are the usual weapon of choice, I've used one & it worked fine, haven't used any other type...

+ another one. The plea 6 litre is sold under other trade names e.g. Sealey, which was the one I bought. Great for sucking all sorts of things from inaccessible places, but if used for salty water flush through with some dirty oil afterwards to keep the pump valves from corrosion.
When removing the hose from the dipstick tube don't let the end flick as it exits. Don't ask me how I know this to be a PITA to deal with especially with beige wall carpets !
This one is faster and more durable:I got a 12v one from Lidl for £12, looks similar to the eBay one, been good so far... Had to use it on a boat with a 20l sump capacity, that took about half an hour!!
