Oil cooler removal help

Hi I am in need of advice kad300 engine - heat exchanger removed.
Is it just the four bolts to remove the oil cooler that hold the base of the cooler?

Yep four 12mm bolts and the two hoses
Just doing the same job on my ad31

When you remove it look carefully for corrosion at the back, underneath where there is a bronze ring/ plate with O'rings.

The corrosion would be on the outside, underneath where a drip sits bridging the bronze plate and the cast aluminium body.

I’m hearing horror stories regarding oil coolers. I’ve twin kamd44edc’s. I’m in the process of getting intercoolers cleaned and both oil coolers are getting replaced as there is signs of corrosion, as Bandit has mentioned. Expensive job but if the old ones fail it is curtains!
