Well it would appear Addenbrooke's have decided I present too greater risk after six weeks, so I'm off to Harley st again for at least a buy me some time opp, I have a new boat sitting in port Hamble & I haven't used the bloody thing yet so I'm not going yet! Will also discuss options for a longer term, if very high risk solution. BUPA are going to love us, one of my employees has had open heart surgery along with three eye opps all due to a bacterial infection, & I cost them over £100k last year :ambivalence:

We are all with you RD and wishing you the best. You should be able to tell the Harley St bods exactly which bits need sorting, by now.

Pancreas has put a spanner in the works, the London Clinic has one of the best guys in the world for this who has saved me at least once in the past, so will see what he says, thought that bit was sorted but it would appear not

Mines wrapped up in a very swollen portal vein so removal is not an option, or so Addenbrookes have told me.

I’m not an expert in these things, but it sounds as if someone needs to rearrange your insides to be more in-line with what you’d expect to see in the anatomy text book.

All the best for a rapid improvement and recovery.

That's a bit of a setback, good luck with the new docs, weather is a bit rubbish at the moment so you aren't missing anything. Get well for the spring.
PS keep mountain, SSD, mercury, bedders and co on their toes in the mean time.(lounge stuff sorry)
