That's unmishteakable! That's the Brishtol Channul and no mishtahke!

But where?

It ain't the Uphill creek - unless I'm a monkey's uncle. ( See 'em piles ), it's more probably down by Combwich on the River Parrett.....

If'n that's not even close, blame the Kumala Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon x 2. And the cheese. ( You have no idea what struggles I'm having with my trrusti spel-cheqer! )

Hah! Correct..... it is indeed Burnham almost on the sea but the tides never in (at least when I go there). Do you live there? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've lived in Somerset for 30 years and I've never seen the tide in! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I used to live near Glastonbury, then Wells, and then Shepton Mallet. Now I'm down near Sherborne in Dorset, but just in Somerset still.

The boats in Poole, where there's water ALL the time! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Only been in the West Country for the last eleven years, Was in Sussex before that with dinghy at Chichester YC, tried Burnham when we first moved to the west - too much mud, discovered that I could get too Exmouth in just over an hour, been there ever since, Had a vivacity 20 moored in the Exe for last three seasons - just sold ! will be looking for something about 25/26 foot in the spring - Price depends on pension in May !!
