There seems to be alot of second hand peche promenades going especially the 715 815 etc. Funny I thought they were good for fishing but Merry Fishers seem more popular.

Seems they are quite a bargain for £12k especially with the gear youget with them. Might pick up a second boat on a share or fishing

From the ones I looked at and tried before buying the present boat I think Ocqueteaus are a bit more basic than Merryfishers and Beneteau lookalikes. They did seem to be slightly better built though IMHO. Beware of the noise levels on the smaller versions of all of them. Engine boxes are close to, or partially within, the wheelhouses so engines tend to be very veRY LOUD. Put us off completely. Versions with 4stroke outboard on the back were far more relaxing and fun - but bad for sales of S.
