Ocean R + H Simple valve for fenders

I think someone at Ocean Fenders may have had a few beers when he claimed the R - H Valve simple ...

Yes its a simple design - but absolute pain to use.

I bought an R2 today to add to the fendering of my boat - there's a storm going through and boat is having hard time on the pontoon ..

It came half deflated ... I've followed the videos of remove first part - lever out second part - push second part onto first - push back in but don't screw in - pump up.

Ha Ha .... absolutely NO AIR goes in ...

The inner valve part has now pushed through into the buoy ...

I still have the second outer part ... I even bought a proper adaptor to fit it for the air pump ..

Trying to extract the inner as described by Ocean - it finally pushed through !

Now trying to find replacement valve kit .. I can get the main screw in part ... but its the inner valve seal long tube part I need ..

I find it interesting that Ocean say they listen to customers and produced simplest valve !! Well their own FAQ and Forum indicates opposite with so many complaints about this valve and hard to operate.

I even emailed Ocean Fenders themselves ........... they haven't bothered to answer .....
